DIAGNOSIS

Your veterinarian will perform an ear swab and visualize the sample under a microscope, looking for bacteria, yeast, and/or mites

TREATMENT

Ear infections range in severity and are treated differently depending on the cause

Typically, a medication is prescribed to use 1-2 times per day. Ears must be cleaned once daily for the medication to work effectively

PREVENTION

In the future, you can keep your dog’s ears clean by gently cleaning them periodically with a cleanser such as Epi-Otic Advanced Ear Cleanser
