How do I know which plan is right for me?

If you have more than one pet, want unlimited sessions per month and want to connect with other pet parents via groups, then we recommend our monthly plan.

I am a monthly member, how can I access the chat?

To access your unlimited chats, click the Member Chat button at the top of the Home screen. Fill out the pet information form before starting the chat so our veterinarians are better able to assist you. If it is after business hours, return during business hours, or fill out a request and our veterinarians will chat with you when business hours resume. 


I am a monthly member, how do I get the most out of my Member Groups access?

Member Groups allow for members to connect with each other, ask questions, and share their pet parenting experiences.

How can I access my membership page?

Click the bell icon at the top right of the Home page. 

Can AskVetMD veterinarians prescribe medication?

Please be aware that AskVetMD veterinarians can advise and guide you but can’t legally diagnose, treat, prescribe or dose medication if they haven’t physically examined your pet.

What if I have two pets and have a question about both, but do not want to purchase a monthly membership?

We recommend that you then purchase two separate single sessions, one for each pet.

How do I cancel my monthly membership?

Please email to cancel your monthly membership. Please be aware that there is a 3 month membership minimum.
